Theme: “Let’s Apply Science to Rebuild the Nation”

• Age limit: Grades 06-12

• No. of words: 750 – 1000

• Deadline for submission: 30th September 2020

• Page settings: Essays should be typed on A4 pages. Font size: 12, Single space. If hand-written, texts should be easily readable, sufficiently spaced and written on single side A4 papers.

• Format: Essays can be submitted in Microsoft Word or PDF formats. If hand-written, please send a clear, readable scanned image of the essay. The essay should be accompanied with the clearly and eligibly filled application form given by the NSF.

• Criteria for evaluation: Scientific facts, creativity, style of presentation, use of language and other essential features of an essay.

• All submissions should be certified as own creations of the student by a parent. (the certification of the principal of the school and relevant class teacher should be submitted to the NSF upon request).

• Your science essay with duly completed application should be sent on or before 30th September 2020 via WhatsApp on 0715507902 or email to lakshan@nsf.gov.lk. Please indicate “ISSSC 2020” in the subject area of the email or WhatsApp message.

• Creations received by the NSF will be evaluated by a special panel of judges and the decision of the Panel of Judges will be the final. No grievances or appeal will be entertained once the winners are announced.

• The winners will be felicitated at a special ceremony organized by the NSF.

• අයදුම්පත් භාරගන්නා අවසන් දිනය: 2020 සැප්තැම්බර් 30
• පිටු සැකසුම්: රචනා A4 ප්‍රමාණයේ පිටු වල ටයිප් කළ යුතුය. අකුරුවල විශාලත්වය: 12 සහා පේළි අතර පරතරය "single" විය යුතුය. අතින් ලියා ඇත්නම්, අත් අකුරු පහසුවෙන් කියවිය හැකි වන ලෙස වචන අතර ප්‍රමාණවත් පරතරයක් සහිතව A4 ප්‍රමාණයේ පිටුවල තනි පැතිවල ලිවිය යුතුය.
• ආකෘතිය: ටයිප් කරන ලද රචනා Ms Word හෝ PDF ආකාරයෙන් එවිය යුතුය. අතින් ලියා ඇත්නම්, රචනයේ පැහැදිලි, කියවිය හැකි, ස්කෑන් කළ  පිටපතක් එවන්න. රචනාව, ජාතික විද්‍යා පදනම මගින් ලබා දී ඇති අයදුම්පතක් සමඟ එවිය යුතුය. අයදුම්කරු අදාළ සුදුසුකම් සපුරාලිය යුතු අතර අයදුම්පත පැහැදිලිව පුරවා තිබිය යුතුය.
• ඇගයීම සඳහා නිර්ණායක: විද්‍යාත්මක කරුණු, නිර්මාණශීලිත්වය, ඉදිරිපත් කිරීමේ විලාසය, භාෂාව භාවිතය සහ වාක්‍ය රචනයක තිබිය යුතු අනෙකුත් ගුණාංග
• සියලුම අයදුම්පත් දෙමව්පියන් විසින් ශිෂ්‍යයාගේම නිර්මාණයක් ලෙස සහතික කළ යුතුය. (පාසලේ විදුහල්පතිගේ සහ අදාළ පන්ති භාර ගුරුවරයාගේ සහතිකය අප විසින් දැනුම් දුන් විට ඉදිරිපත් කළ යුතුය).
• නිසි පරිදි සම්පුර්ණ කරන ලද අයදුම්පත් සමග ඔබගේ විද්‍යා රචනාව, 2020 සැප්තැම්බර් 30 දිනට හෝ ඊට පෙර, 0715507902 යන දුරකථන අංකයට WhatsApp  කිරීම හෝ “lakshan@nsf.gov.lk” යන විද්‍යුත් තැපෑල වෙත එවිය යුතුය.”ISSSC 2020” ලෙස විද්‍යුත් තැපෑල් හෝ WhatsApp පණිවිඩයේ මාතෘකාව යටතේ සදහන් කළ යුතුය.
• අප වෙත ලැබෙන නිර්මාණ විශේෂ තේරීම් මඩුල්ලක් විසින් තෝරනු ලබන අතර විනිශ්චය මණ්ඩලයේ තීරණය අවසාන තීරණය වේ. ජයග්‍රාහකයින් ප්‍රකාශයට පත් කිරීමෙන් පසුව, කිසිදු දුක්ගැනවිල්ලක් හෝ අභියාචනයක් සලක බලනු නොලැබේ.
• ජාතික විද්‍යා පදනම විසින් සංවිධානය කරනු ලබන උත්සවයක දී ජයග්‍රාහකයින්ට සහතික පත්‍ර හා තෑගි ප්‍රධානය සිදුකරනු ලැබේ.
