Theme: “Let’s Apply Science to Rebuild the Nation”
- Age limit: Grades 06-12
- Duration: 05 minutes (Role Play will be disqualified if the time duration is less than 04 minutes or exceeds 06 minutes)
- Role: Only one character can be performed by an applicant in one language. Performance should be done by a single person. Set and props, costumes, makeups, and background music can be used to make the role play more attractive.
- Criteria for evaluation: Scientific content, creative performance, and other practices (set & props/ costumes/ make up).
- Suggestions for Role Play: Edward Jenner, Louis Pasteur, Robert Hooke, Antonie van Leeuwenhoek or any other scientist EXCLUDING Charles Darwin, Mari Curie, Archimedes, Thomas Alva Edison, Isaac Newton, and Nicolaus Copernicus.
- Deadline for Application: 30th September 2020
- All submissions should be certified as own creations of the student by a parent. (the certification of the Principal of the school and relevant class teacher should be submitted to the NSF upon request).
- The performance of the role play should be done only by the students of the school.
- A recorded video clip of the role play with duly completed application should be sent on or before 30th September 2020 via WhatsApp on 0715507902 or email to lakshan@nsf.gov.lk. Please indicate “ISSSC 2020” in the subject area of the email or WhatsApp message.
- Creations received by the NSF will be evaluated by a special panel and the decision of the Panel of Judges will be the final. No grievances or appeal will be entertained once the winners are announced.
- The winners will be felicitated at a special ceremony organized by the NSF

- භූමිකාව: එක් භාෂාවක අයදුම්කරුවෙකුට කළ හැක්කේ එක් චරිතයක් පමණි. ඉදිරිපත්කිරීම තනි පුද්ගලයෙකු විසින් කළ යුතුය. භූමිකාව වඩාත් ආකර්ශනීය කරවීම සඳහා පසුතල නිර්මාණ, රංග වස්ත්‍ර, වේශ නිරූපණ සහ පසුබිම් සංගීතය භාවිතා කළ හැකිය.
- ඇගයීම සඳහා නිර්ණායක: විද්‍යාත්මක අන්තර්ගතය හා නිවැරදි තොරතුරු, නිර්මාණාත්මක ඉදිරිපත් කිරීම සහ වෙනත් භාවිතයන් (පසුතල නිර්මාණ / රංග වස්ත්‍ර / වේශ නිරූපණය/ පසුබිම් සංගීතය)
- භූමිකා රංගනය සඳහා යෝජිත නම්: එඩ්වඩ් ජෙනර්, ලුවී පාස්චර්, රොබට් හූක්, ඇන්ටෝනි වැන් ලීවන්හූක් හෝ වෙනත් විද්‍යාඥයෙකුගේ චරිතයක් (චාල්ස් ඩාවින්, මාරි කියුරි, ආකිමිඩීස්, තෝමස් ඇල්වා එඩිසන්, අයිසැක් නිව්ටන් සහ නිකොලස් කොපර්නිකස් හැර වෙනත් චරිතයක්)
- අයදුම්පත් සහ නිර්මාණ භාරගන්නා අවසන් දිනය: 2020 සැප්තැම්බර් 30
- සියලුම අයදුම්පත් දෙමව්පියන් විසින් ශිෂ්‍යයාගේම නිර්මාණයක් ලෙස සහතික කළ යුතුය. (පාසලේ විදුහල්පතිගේ සහ අදාළ පන්ති භාර ගුරුවරයාගේ සහතිකය අප විසින් දැනුම් දුන් විට ඉදිරිපත් කළ යුතුය).
- නිසි පරිදි සම්පුර්ණ කරන ලද අයදුම්පත් සමග ඔබගේ භුමිකා රංගනයේ පටිගත කරන ලද වීඩියෝවක්, 2020 සැප්තැම්බර් 30 දිනට හෝ ඊට පෙර, 0715507902 යන දුරකථන අංකයට WhatsApp කිරීම හෝ “lakshan@nsf.gov.lk” යන විද්‍යුත් තැපෑල වෙත එවිය යුතුය.”ISSSC 2020” ලෙස විද්‍යුත් තැපෑල් හෝ WhatsApp පණිවිඩයේ මාතෘකාව යටතේ සදහන් කළ යුතුය.
- අප වෙත ලැබෙන නිර්මාණ විශේෂ තේරීම් මඩුල්ලක් විසින් තෝරනු ලබන අතර විනිශ්චය මණ්ඩලයේ තීරණය අවසාන තීරණය වේ. ජයග්‍රාහකයින් ප්‍රකාශයට පත් කිරීමෙන් පසුව, කිසිදු දුක්ගැනවිල්ලක් හෝ අභියාචනයක් සලක බලනු නොලැබේ.
- ජාතික විද්‍යා පදනම විසින් සංවිධානය කරනු ලබන උත්සවයක දී ජයග්‍රාහකයින්ට සහතික පත්‍ර හා තෑගි ප්‍රධානය සිදුකරනු ලැබේ.
