Theme: “Let’s Apply Science to Rebuild the Nation”
- Age limit: This competition is held under 03 categories: School (Grades 06-12), Undergraduate and Open
- Duration: 04 min (±30 sec will be allowed)
- Deadline for application: 30th September 2020
- Production: Scientific concept should be related to the themes and presented in digital medium. Windows Movie Maker, MS Power Point or any other accepted software can be used to produce the digital story. Multimedia such as texts, still images, recorded audio narrations, video clips & music can be mixed to produce digital stories (supporting websites: www.storycenter.org).
- Specifications: File formats: AVI/MPEG4, aspect ratio: 16:9 widescreen preferred
- Criteria for evaluation: Relevance to the theme, creativity, accuracy of the scientific information and presentation
- All submissions should be certified as own creations of the student by a parent. (the certification of the principal of the school and relevant class teacher should be submitted to the NSF upon request).
- Your Digital Story with duly completed application should be sent on or before 30th September 2020 via WhatsApp on 0715507902 or email to lakshan@nsf.gov.lk. Please indicate “ISSSC 2020” in the subject area of the email or WhatsApp message.
- Creations received by the NSF will be evaluated by a special panel of judges and the decision of the panel of judges will be the final. No grievances or appeal will be entertained once the winners are announced.
- The winners will be awarded certificates and prizes at a special ceremony organized by the NSF.

- ජාතික විද්‍යා පදනම විසින් සංවිධානය කරනු ලබන උත්සවයක දී ජයග්‍රාහකයින්ට සහතික පත්‍ර හා තෑගි ප්‍රධානය සිදුකරනු ලැබේ.
